- Departure Zone Smoking Areas
West Side of the Third Floor: The departure area on the west side of the third floor has one of the permitted smoking areas. It is close to Boarding Gates 5 and 9.
Additional Smoking Area: Passengers have an additional choice with another authorised smoking area on the third level west of the departure area.

Numerous airport lounges provide designated spaces for travellers who smoke.
Skylounge: Guests of this exclusive lounge have access to a special smoking area.
The Intercontinental Dhaka Balaka Executive Lounge is a high-end area with a smoking area.
